FAQs

  • Deciding to pursue therapy is a personal choice. If you're experiencing challenges, stress, or a desire for personal growth, and relate to what you’ve read here about the work that I do, then let’s talk. Therapy can provide valuable support and tools to navigate these aspects of life and I’m here to help you do that.

  • In our first session we will clarify what has brought you to therapy. I will ask you questions such as how long this has been going on for and how it is impacting you so we can pinpoint the exact problem. I will explain to you the therapy process and we will begin building a treatment plan together.

  • Online therapy brings the support and guidance of therapy to you in your own space. There’s no commute and no hassle. We will book in advance a time that is mutually convenient, I will provide you with a HIPAA compliant video platform link, and we will meet much as we would face to face. All you need to do is be prepared with a private place to speak, good headphones, and a stable internet connection.

  • Absolutely! Though I promise to be slightly distracted and may talk to them throughout the session too.

  • I’m glad you asked. Yes, I work with a wide range of clients, and I’d be happy to work with you as well. If you relate to what I’ve written in this site, book a consult session. I look forward to speaking.

  • Treatment length and session frequency depend on your needs and goals. Some people find relief in a few sessions, while others may choose longer-term therapy for ongoing support or personal development. Initially, sessions may be more frequent, and as progress is made toward your personal goals, they may become less frequent. We will collaborate together to determine the optimal schedule for your needs.

  • My sessions are completely remote to accommodate the demands of a busy professional life.

  • I see clients in NY and FL.

  • I generally see clients during the morning hours. I have appointments starting in the very early morning to accommodate the demands of a busy work schedule.

  • My fee is $275 per session. Each session runs for 50 minutes.

  • I accept clients on a private pay basis only. I can, however, provide detailed invoices that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement, depending on your individual plan. Most of my clients find that the flexibility and confidentiality of private pay aligns with their preferences and needs.

  • In compliance with New York State regulations, a Good Faith Estimate is a document that outlines the anticipated costs of mental health services before you begin treatment. This allows you to make informed decisions about your mental health care and understand the financial commitment involved. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Good Faith Estimate or your financial responsibilities, please don't hesitate to discuss them with me.
